Software License Terms
Your license covers the version or versions of the software as specified at the time you received it. All versions of the same "master" number
(the number before the first dot, for example, 4.3, 4.5, 4.7---all 4.anything) are covered by your license. If you download and install a "point" release and need a new
license key because of changes to the program, please contact lostlic AT hyperionics.com. We'll provide you with a free upgrade to the "point" release. In most cases
your older license will still work, without a need to re-issue a new key. With a
major software upgrade, when the main version number is incremented (for
example, from 3.63 to 4.00), you will be expected to pay a small upgrade fee,
usually 50% or less of a new license purchase.
Your license, should you purchase one, is similar to that of a book. You may use it on as many computer systems as you may own (be that one or two hundred). However the way you use the software should be such that
for each single user license, only one copy at a time may be in use. For example, many folks have a desktop and a laptop. You may install
our product on both and enter the same license key on both machines, but you may not use the program on your laptop and your desktop at the same time. Think of it as you would a book: you can read it anywhere you like, but you can only read one copy of it at a time.
If two people need to access a single user licensed software simultaneously, you
need to purchase and install a second license.
