greg, newest version, with the option to capture PATH and FILE name - this is GENIUS
To ALL, also see "ClipboardPath_", a free program, which adds a similar program to the right-click context menu in explorer.
With capturing of a PATH, and a FILE name, there is a lot more flexibility in SAVING new scans, to DIFFERENT folders than where the original file is located.
Example I do scanning of receipts. d:.....2008_End_Year\Utility\Verizon_20081010.jpg
If I get in a NEW bill, that is for 2009 year end, and I had scanned it in, and I HAD been in the 2008 folder, I'd have to navigate to the 2009 folders, find the utility folder, and then name the file to sve as.
WITH this copy-file-path feature, I could be viewing the d:.....2008_End_Year\Utility\Verizon_20081010.jpg file, SELECT the COPY path feature
then have my new scanned image, while stil in that folder and at the SAVE prompt, do a PASTE of the above info d:.....2008_End_Year\Utility\Verizon_20081010.jpg AND just change the 8 to a 9, and the 1010 to 0110
and I would see this in the save bar d:.....2009_End_Year\Utility\Verizon_20090110.jpg
and my NEW scanned document will be stored in the 2009_end_year\utility folder, as the new file name.
This method can save a lot of navigation, since yuou can enter/edit the path in a SAVE AS prompt
AND, with the ClipboardPath utility (not related to HS), thorugh the explorer context menu, you can navigate OUTSIDE HS to another folder, right click, capture a path/file name, go back to HS, scan an image that is supposed to go to that folder, and without navigating, just paste the copied path/file into the save bar, and edit it as above
