I just updated to this new version. On the first screen shot I did today when I try to hightlight an area yellow comes out a dark orange, green comes out dark grey, cyan comes out light gray, magenta comes out a pale mauve.
Never had this problem before updating. No changes to hardware or video mode settings.
Bob, maybe you have converted the image to 8 bits per pixel or less, which limits the color palette. Saving it as GIF file would also do this (convert to 8 bpp or less). Click the "Resize" button on the drawing toolbar (the one with several squares on it) and set colors to "True Color (24 bit)" or to 32 bit. Then you can draw, highlight etc. in any color you want. When you convert the image back to GIF or other limited color palette format, a new color table will be constructed to include the new highlight colors in it as well.
Thanks, That fixed it. However I should point out that I've been saving my captures in GIF format since I started using the program -- never touched these color settings -- and it always worked until two updates ago -- so the update reset something. I followed your instructions and everything is back to "normal". Thanks again. Bob
