HyperSnap is an excellent program. I've been aware of it for years.

But I've had to recommend a competitor to my clients since it supports saving in Acrobat format and HS (I think) still does not. And that is a critical spec.

The competitor is also excellent, but other than the lack of the Acrobat format I would currently give HS the edge.

Is there any plan to add .pdf capabilities to HS anytime soon?

Thank you.

I have not been asked about this feature often. When I need a PDF, I just print to a virtual PDF printer - you may download e.g. doPDF, freeware, or any other similar program. Then you could select File/Print from HyperSnap menu and print to a PDF file - and you could do the same in any other application that supports printing.

Hypersnap, and PDF -
Hypersnap is EXCELLENT for this. As greg said, use a virtual PDF print driver.
PDFcreator is a free one; I use PDF Factory Pro, a paid program, somewhat more reliable than PDFcreator, but both work.

Install the PDF driver.

Open Hypersnap, and input your documents. THEN, you select PRINT, and you can print to the PDF, and a PDF File gets created.
AND, if you have a scanner, you could set the scanner to continually scan sequential pages; AND, in capture settings, have the output go to just a printer, and NOT save the image; and each scanned image would get PRINTED (I.E., saved to the PDF file.). (the PDF printer driver has to support multiple page PDF's; pdf factory pro does this, and PDFcreator does it in a modified fashion).

I can detail more of this is needed.
The REASON I could detail more of this is because HS is FANTASTIC, and I don't mind helping greg out in explaining a feature that would attract other users, as this program has been invaluable to me.

IN FACT, the reason I am writing this is that I came to the support board today to post ANOTHER unrelated comment, see "GREG IS A GENIUS" topic, and I saw this one and responded.
